Associate Professor
Graduate School of International Cooperation Studies (GSICS)
Kobe University

Ever since I completed an internship in Uganda during my time as a master's student, my passion has lied in international educational development. My courses are designed to help students acquire robust quantitative and qualitative analytical skills, enabling them to conduct theory-based empirical research and publish papers that can contribute to policymaking in this dynamic field. Based on my personal experiences, I urge and guide students to conduct fieldwork in developing countries. Furthermore, I actively encourage them to gain practical experience through internships at various development agencies, including international organizations.
